Luke's debut CD Flowing Waters was officially released on the 1st of June 2015 by Divine Art, and it received three stars in the BBC Music Magazine. Since then it has continued to receive regular broadcasts around the world.
"Luke Whitlock's debut CD, Flowing Waters, is a collection of beautifully composed pieces. Being a pianist myself, I'm particularly fond of the expressive and varied piano music on the CD, which is superbly performed by Duncan Honeybourne." Debbie Wiseman MBE (Film & Television Composer)
"It is quite beautiful, soothing, peaceful and extremely melodic. Who could ask for anything more?" Don Black (Lyricist and Song writer)
"Lovely music with a distinctive voice." Julian Lloyd Webber (Cellist and conductor)
"I have listened "right-through" and again in shorter sections and found lots of lovely moods. My own immediate favourite - and I believe for many other listeners - is without doubt "Evening Prayer". It is also beautifully played!" Joseph Horovitz (Composer)
The musicians featured on this CD include: Duncan Honeybourne, performing solo piano repertoire including Suite Antique, Flowing Waters, Evening Prayer, and The Faust and Mephisto Waltz; Flautist Anna Stokes, with pianist Wai-Yin Lee, performing my Flute Sonata; and joining Anna to perform the Wind Trio is the clarinettist James Meldrum and bassoonist Vicky Crowell.
